Gate‐Tunable Hole Transport in In‐Plane Ge Nanowires by V‐Groove Confined Selective Epitaxy
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Ge nanowires are promising for hole spin‐based quantum processors, requiring direct integration onto Si wafers. This work introduces V‐groove‐confined selective epitaxy for in‐plane nanowire growth on Si. Structural and low‐temperature transport measurements confirm their high crystalline quality, gate‐tunable hole densities, and mobility.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Laser‐induced crystallization enabling the patterning of amorphous calcium carbonate into various distinct phases is introduced. This approach provides spatial control over polymorph selection, both crystalline and amorphous, inspired by biomineralization pathways.

Aquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 2, Issue 6, Page 470-483, December 2022., 2022 In Yellowstone Lake, Wyoming, lake trout carcasses are used to suppress invasive lake trout embryos in an effort to conserve native Yellowstone cutthroat trout. Using a field experiment, we determined that carcass treatment had limited, non‐target effects on benthic invertebrates.
