Comparing desorption properties of pollutants on bentonite particles and in compacted bentonite
Desorption is one of the main factors causing groundwater and soil pollution. Therefore, the study of clay desorption characteristics is important for the prediction of groundwater and soil pollution. In previous studies, batch tests and column tests were used to study the desorption characteristics of pollutants on clay.

Dataset regarding calcium bentonite and sodium bentonite as stabilizers for roads unbound
The collected dataset derives from the laboratory testing of bentonite clay investigated as a stabilization technology for the unbound layers of road pavements. The effect of two kinds of bentonite (calcium based and sodium based) are assessed on two aggregate types commonly used as road construction materials.

Bentonite, Bandaids, and Borborygmi [PDF]
The practice of eating clay for gastrointestinal ailments and applying clay topically as bandaids for skin infections is as old as mankind. Bentonites in particular have been used in traditional medicines, where their function has been established empirically. With modern techniques for nanoscale investigations, we are now exploring the interactions of
