Preparation, Spectral Characterization and Antioxidant Activities of Aminothiophene-Containing Schiff Base and Co(II) and Pd(II) Complexes. [PDF]

Schiff base and its Co(II) and Pd(II) complexes were prepared and characterized. The characterization of the synthesized compounds was determined by spectroscopic and analytical methods. Antioxidant activity of compounds by different methods were determined. Pd(II) complexes showed better activities than the other synthesized compounds.

Is ring strain the new hν? Tricyclic cis‐fused alkylidene cyclobutanes are obtained cleanly from the intramolecular [2+2] trapping of 1,2‐cyclohexadienes with styrenes and electron‐deficient olefins. Reactions proceed with complete diastereoselectivity and regioselectivity.
