A transition-metal-free three-phase four-component coupling reaction (3P-4CR) involving KCl, arynes, chloroalkanes and CO2 has been reported for the first time, enabling the incorporation of both chloro and CO2 into an aryne simultaneously. The reactions

Cyclic eight-membered hydrogen-bonded rings exist in the title compound, C(5)H(7)N(2)(+).C(7)H(5)O(2)(-), involving the 2-aminopyridinium and benzoate ions. Each benzoate ion has two intramolecular hydrogen bonds. 2-Aminopyridinium benzoate ion pairs are linked by N-H...O hydrogen bonds, with an N...O distance of 2.8619 (14) A.

Quantitative determination of benzyl benzoate in Benzyl Benzoate Lotion NF
American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, 1976The development of a simple, shorter and more accurate method than the NF method for the determination of benzyl benzoate in Benzyl Benzoate Lotion NF is discussed. Hydrolyzed benzyl benzoate was measured spectrophotometrically. Interference from other ingredients of the lotion, oleic acid and triethanolamine was almost negligible.
