Gold(I) Phosphine/Phosphido‐Borohydride Complexes
Synthesis, structure, and electrochemical characteristics of a homologous series of gold(I) complexes featuring phosphine and phosphido–borohydride ligands. A homologous series of linear, mononuclear gold(I) phosphine/phosphido‐borohydride complexes, encompassing [Au(PR3)2]+ 1, [Au(PR3)(PR2BH3)] 2 and [Au(PR2BH3)2]– 3 (R = tBu, Ad), has been prepared ...

Chemosystematic aspects of polyisoprenylated benzophenones from the genus Clusia
Benzophenone derivatives are special metabolites that arouse great scientific interest. The Clusiaceae family is known for producing large amounts of benzophenone derivatives with several isoprene residues on their structures, which are responsible for ...

Gold nanoparticles supported on poly(2,6‐dimethyl‐1,4‐phenylene oxide) (AuNPs‐PPO) demonstrates efficient and selective hydroamination, with performance tuned by reaction conditions and substrate design. Electron‐withdrawing substituents enhance conversion while preserving E‐imine selectivity, highlighting a key role of intermediate acidity.

Catalytic Enantioselective Borohydride Reduction of Ortho-Fluorinated Benzophenones
In the presence of the optically active ketoiminatocobalt(II) complexes, the enantioselective borohydride reduction of benzophenones was successfully completed. The fluorine atom on the ortho position of the benzophenone and aryl ketones proved effective

The lithium enediamide complex 2 with intrinsically inverted C–N bond polarity combines strong basicity with unusual reactivity: deprotonation of malonates enables C–C bond formation without electron transfer. Depending on malonate substitution, electrophilic substitution or addition occurs at the enediamide CC bond.

Upon reduction of 1,4‐diaza‐1,3‐diene 1 to the dilithium enediamide 2, the polarity of the C = N bonds is reversed ‐ a classic case of umpolung. This behavior is particularly evident in reactions of the dianion 2 with carbonyl compounds and also explains why 1,4‐diaza‐1,3‐diene ligands do not always act merely as spectator ligands. 1,4‐Diaza‐1,3‐dienes
