Synthesis of Chiral 1,4,2-Oxazaphosphepines

open access: yesMolecules, 2015
Synthesis and structural characterization of 1,4,2-oxazaphosphepines is described. The 1,4,2-oxazaphosphepines were obtained from reaction of chiral 1,3-benzoxazines with dichlorophenylphosphine or triethyl phosphite.

Retro‐Hetero‐Michael Addition Strategies in Organic Synthesis

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
In this review, synthetic approaches to carbo‐ and heterocyclic compounds, including natural products, published in the last 15 years (2011–2025) which have either relied upon or included a retro‐hetero‐Michael addition step at any stage are discussed.

Synthesis and Fungicidal Activity of 1-(Carbamoylmethyl)-2-aryl-3,1-benzoxazines

open access: yesMolecules, 2017
A series of new 1-(carbamoylmethyl)-2-aryl-3,1-benzoxazines were prepared in moderate to good yields by BF3·OEt2-catalyzed reactions of aromatic aldehydes with 2-(N-substituted carbamoylmethylamino)benzyl alcohols.

The Synthesis Use of a Difluorinated Amino‐Benzo‐Cinnoline Dyes (ABCDyes) Enables Fine Tuning of Emission Through Double SNAr Late‐Stage Functionalization

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 29, 7 August 2026.
An efficient synthesis of difluorinated amino‐benzo‐cinnoline dyes (ABCDyes) is reported. Their use for the late‐stage introduction of internal dinucleophilic species through a double SNAr reaction enables straightforward access to previously unexplored ABCDye analogs displaying tunable emission ranging from green to red.

Towards Bio‐Based Benzoxazines (2015–2025): A Critical Review of Renewable Building Blocks, Formaldehyde‐Free Aldehydes, and ECHA Hazard Landscape

open access: yesPolymers for Advanced Technologies, Volume 37, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT This review provides a critical overview of research on fully bio‐based benzoxazines over the period 2015–2025. A bibliometric analysis based on the Web of Science database is used to map how the field has evolved and to identify the renewable building blocks that have been most widely adopted.
