A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 3, Page 688-708, March 2026.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Pd(II)-Catalyzed Enantioselective Ring-Contraction for the Construction of 1,4-Benzoxazines

open access: yes, 2021
Enantioselective ring-contraction reactions have not been widely reported. We have developed an enantioselective ring contraction of 5,6-dihydro-2H-benzo[b][1,4]oxazocines, affording enantiomerically enriched 3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzoxazine derivatives

Intrinsically Noncombustible Thermosets from Sulfur-Containing Epoxy Resin and Benzoxazines: Evaluation of Thermal and Mechanical Properties

open access: yesAdvances in Polymer Technology, 2023
Benzoxazine (BZ)-epoxy copolymers exhibit favorable mechanical properties, but their thermal and flame-retardant characteristics are impaired at high epoxy fractions. Here, we report a new type of sulfur-containing epoxy resin (EPS), which we synthesized

Nano‐ and Micro‐Sized Solid Materials Used as Antiviral Agents

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 26, 30 March 2026.
Due to the rise of viral infections in humans and possible viral outbreaks, the use of nano‐ or micro‐sized materials as antiviral agents is rapidly increasing. This review explores their antiviral properties against RNA and DNA viruses, either as a prevention or a treatment tool, by delving into their mechanisms of action and how to properly assess ...

The Contribution of Cholesterol and Squalene Synthase in Cancer: Molecular Mechanisms, Lipid Rafts and Therapeutic Approaches

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, Volume 46, Issue 2, Page 352-381, March 2026.
ABSTRACT A plethora of cellular signaling pathways are dysregulated in cancer cells, promoting carcinogenesis and migration. Cholesterol has recently been linked to cancer by several subcellular mechanisms, especially by its involvement in the formation of lipid rafts, which promote oncogenic signaling and cancer cell invasion. Squalene synthase (SQS),
