Benzoyl peroxide: lack of sensitization
A prospective study of 445 patients using benzoyl peroxide, observed regularly over a 12-month period, uncovered only a very low incidence of moderate or severe local reaction. There was, however, a significant level of mild primary irritant dermatitis which settled with continued use. In only 6 patients was there severe local reaction; one patient was

Prescribing Patterns in Pediatric Hidradenitis Suppurativa
ABSTRACT Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is an inflammatory skin condition increasingly diagnosed in pediatric populations; however, data on treatment practices in this group remains limited. In this retrospective study of 163 patients diagnosed with HS ≤ 18 years of age, we found that treatment patterns varied significantly by disease severity.

This study evaluated the combined effects of antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (aPDT) and systemic resveratrol on bone repair around immediately placed implants in type 2 diabetic rats. Resveratrol improved glycemic control and body weight, while aPDT increased implant stability and bone mineralization.

AROMATIZATION OF 1,4-DIHYDROPYRIDINES WITH FREE RADICAL REAGENTS [PDF]
Oxidation of different types of 1,4-dihydropyridines with diphenylpicrylhydrazyl (DPP) and benzoyl peroxide (Bz2O2) as free radical oxidizing agents to pyridine derivatives is reported and a mechanism for this oxidation is also proposed.

This study presents a practical aerobic photochemical strategy for the upcycling of polystyrene waste, combining bromine radical mediation with InBr3 catalysis. The approach efficiently depolymerizes diverse PS materials under mild conditions, yielding benzoic acid and enabling downstream production of value‐added compounds. The photochemical upcycling

Photocaged and Water‐Soluble Glucose Functionalization for Spatiotemporal Acidification Pathways
Light‐controlled glucose release from a water‐soluble coumarin photocage enables spatiotemporal acid generation in enzyme‐driven chemical reaction networks. ABSTRACT The spatiotemporal control of complex molecular systems, such as chemical reaction networks (CRNs), requires reagents and reactive species that can be activated both efficiently and ...
