Beyond the Shelf: Navigating Scarcity in the Digital Age
ABSTRACT Scarcity is a well‐established marketing tactic, yet its effects in digital retail environments remain less well understood. This research examines how different types of online scarcity cues influence consumer behavior and whether some cues may produce unintended responses.

Novel Bernstein‐Kantorovich Type Operators
ABSTRACT In this paper, we introduce a novel class of Bernstein‐Kantorovich operators, denoted as Kβn,θ$$ {K}_{\beta}^{n,\theta } $$, parameterized by 0<β<1$$ 0<\beta <1 $$ and θ>0$$ \theta >0 $$. We first derive a recurrence formula that facilitates the computation of moments and central moments and provide explicit expressions for Kβn,θ(tm;x)$$ {K}_{\

Laplace Factor Models in High-Dimensional Data
Laplace factor models (LFMs) provide a heavy-tailed alternative to Gaussian factor models by representing high-dimensional observations through a low-rank common component and Laplace-distributed idiosyncratic errors.

On the Approximation Properties of Modified Bernstein–Kantorovich Operators and Their Subfamilies
ABSTRACT Motivated by the construction of Bernstein–Kantorovich operators preserving affine functions, we introduce a Bernstein–Kantorovich type operators 𝒯n,m together with its subfamilies 𝒯∗n,m, 𝒯∗n,2m−1 and 𝒯∗n,2m. We investigate and compare their approximation properties with the other Bernstein–Kantorovich operators. Our analysis demonstrates that,

Approximation by a new Stancu variant of generalized (λ,μ)-Bernstein operators
The primary objective of this work is to explore various approximation properties of Stancu variant generalized (λ,μ)-Bernstein operators. Various moment estimates are analyzed, and several aspects of local direct approximation theorems are investigated.

Bernstein-type Inequalities Preserved by Modified Smirnov Operator
In this paper, we consider a modified version of Smirnov operator and obtain some Bernstein-type inequalities preserved by this operator. In particular, we prove some compact generalizations of the well-known inequalities of Bernstein, Erdös and Lax ...

ABSTRACT The lack of a common variable for comparison has been a major obstacle to the development of Comparative Public Administration (CPA). State autonomy enables an integrative contextualization approach, allowing both the analysis of contextual individual country experiences and the generation of generalized comparable knowledge.

Uniform approximation by Bernstein-type operators
The operators \[ L_ nf(x)=(1+x)^{-n}\sum^{n}_{k=0}f(k/n- k+1)\left( \begin{matrix} n\\ k\end{matrix} \right)x^ k\quad(x\geq 0) \] were introduced by G. Bleimann, P. L. Butzer and L. Hahn. In the paper under review the saturation of \(L_ n\) and the so-called non-optimal approximation by \(L_ n\) are settled.
