Multiple Binomial-Type Operators and Their Approximation Properties
In this paper, we introduce multiple binomial-type operators (multiple Bernstein–Sheffer operators) and investigate their approximation properties. These properties are analyzed by means of a Korovkin-type theorem.

Shape Preserving Properties for q-Bernstein-Stancu Operators
We investigate shape preserving for q-Bernstein-Stancu polynomials Bnq,α(f;x) introduced by Nowak in 2009. When α=0, Bnq,α(f;x) reduces to the well-known q-Bernstein polynomials introduced by Phillips in 1997; when q=1, Bnq,α(f;x) reduces to Bernstein ...

ABSTRACT This study explores how social capital and chronic illness self‐management influence career development competency among young people with chronic disabling health conditions (YPCDHC) in Hong Kong. Using data from 485 participants aged 15–29, path analysis showed that school/workplace social capital had the strongest positive effects on career

A new estimate for Hölder approximation by Bernstein operators
In this work we discuss the rate of simultaneous approximation of Hölder continuous functions by Bernstein operators, measured by Hölder norms with different exponents.

Abstract Self‐injurious behaviors (SIBs) represent a major public health concern in the United States. Although sexual minority individuals experience disproportionately high rates of SIBs, research identifying population‐specific risk factors remains limited. This study examined how stressful experiences common among sexual minority (SM) adults relate

Quantifying Soft‐Surgery in Cochlear Implantation: Multimodal Data From 30 International Specialists
Objective data from 30 specialist cochlear implant surgeons showed that surgical handling strongly influences intracochlear mechanical stress during implantation. Surgeons with fewer than 50 lifetime insertions performed significantly worse than more experienced colleagues, while self‐assessment did not reflect objective performance in any group ...

Approximation of Kantorovich-type max-product q-Bernstein operators
In this article, we show that the approximation order of Kantorovich-type max-product Bernstein operators can be improved. We are able to obtain a better approximation order for q-Bernstein operators.

ABSTRACT We develop a unified mathematical framework extending classical moment theory from discrete integer orders to a continuous spectrum of real orders f>0$$ f>0 $$, providing a systematic statistical characterization of complex systems exhibiting power‐law behavior.

A new property of Bernstein-Kantorovič operators
The paper is devoted to establish new approximation properties of the well known Bernstein-Kantorovich operators. The main results of the paper are contained in Theorem 3.1,Theorem 3.2, Theorem 4.1 and Theorem 4.2,Where one proves that the Bernstein-Kantorovich operators have the ability of preserving translation property in both \(C\) and \(L ^p ...
