On the Lupaş $q$-Analogue of the Bernstein Operator

open access: yesRocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics, 2006
\textit{A. Lupaş} [Prepr., ``Babeş-Bolyai'' Univ., Fac. Math., Res. Semin. 9, 85--92 (1987; Zbl 0684.41014)] introduced a nice generalization of the classical Bernstein's operators based on \(q\)-calculus. He investigated some approximation and shape preserving properties of this Bernstein-type operator.
