Reach of the CERN LHC for the Minimal Anomaly-Mediated SUSY Breaking Model [PDF]
We examine the reach of the CERN LHC pp collider for supersymmetric models where the dominant contribution to soft SUSY breaking parameters arises from the superconformal anomaly.

For displaced people, migrating into Europe has highly complex information needs about the journey and destination. Each new need presents problems of where to seek information, how to trust or distrust information, and financial and other costs.

Management of autosomal-dominant polycystic kidney disease—state-of-the-art
Autosomal-dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) is the most frequent genetic cause of end-stage renal disease in adults. Affected individuals and families face a significant medical and psychosocial burden due to both renal and extrarenal ...

Best possible upper bounds on the restrained domination number of cubic graphs
AbstractA dominating set in a graph is a set of vertices such that every vertex in is adjacent to a vertex in . A restrained dominating set of is a dominating set with the additional restraint that the graph obtained by removing all vertices in is isolate‐free.

There is an unmet need in metastatic breast cancer patients to monitor therapy response in real time. In this study, we show how a noninvasive and affordable strategy based on sequencing of plasma samples with longitudinal tracking of tumour fraction paired with a statistical model provides valuable information on treatment response in advance of the ...

Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.

Genomics‐led approach to drug testing in models of undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma
GA text Genomic data from undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma patients and preclinical models were used to inform a targeted drug screen. Selected compounds were tested in 2D and 3D cultures of UPS cell lines. A combination of trametinib and infigratinib was synergistic in the majority of UPS cell lines tested, which was further confirmed in an ex ...
