Best Proximity Points for K- Proximal Contraction
In this paper, we define K− proximal contraction and prove best proximity point theorem for this contraction. We also provide an illustrative example.

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.

Objective We aimed to identify unique disease trajectories within rheumatoid arthritis–associated interstitial lung disease (RA‐ILD) based on longitudinal forced vital capacity (FVC) values and their associated clinical outcomes. Methods We performed a cohort study of RA‐ILD within the Veterans Health Administration from 1999 to 2021.

Best proximity points for alternative p-contractions
AbstractCyclic mappings describe fixed paths for which each point is sequentially transmitted from one set to another. Cyclic mappings satisfying certain cyclic contraction conditions have been used to obtain the best proximity points, which constitute a suitable framework for the mirror reflection model.

Coincidence best proximity points for geraghty type proximal cyclic contractions
Summary: In this paper, we study the notions of generalized Geraghty proximal cyclic contractions for non-self mapping and obtain coincidence best proximity point theorems in the framework of complete metric spaces. Some examples are given to show the validity of our results. Our results extended and unify many existing results in the literature.

Objective This study aims to develop hip morphology‐based radiographic hip osteoarthritis (RHOA) risk prediction models and investigates the added predictive value of hip morphology measurements and the generalizability to different populations. Methods We combined data from nine prospective cohort studies participating in the Worldwide Collaboration ...

Best Proximity Point Theorems for Some New Cyclic Mappings
By using the stronger Meir-Keeler mapping, we introduce the concepts of the sMK-G-cyclic mappings, sMK-K-cyclic mappings, and sMK-C-cyclic mappings, and then we prove some best proximity point theorems for these various types of contractions. Our results

Common best proximity point theorem for multivalued mappings in partially ordered metric spaces
In this paper, we prove the existence of a common best proximity point for a pair of multivalued non-self mappings in partially ordered metric spaces. Also, we provide some interesting examples to illustrate our main results.

Why Proximity Matters for the Concept of Supererogation [PDF]
The concept of supererogation is strictly correlated with duty, since its peculiar value is defined by acts that go beyond our regular obligations.
