Best Proximity Point Theorems for Some New Cyclic Mappings
By using the stronger Meir-Keeler mapping, we introduce the concepts of the sMK-G-cyclic mappings, sMK-K-cyclic mappings, and sMK-C-cyclic mappings, and then we prove some best proximity point theorems for these various types of contractions. Our results

Common best proximity point theorem for multivalued mappings in partially ordered metric spaces
In this paper, we prove the existence of a common best proximity point for a pair of multivalued non-self mappings in partially ordered metric spaces. Also, we provide some interesting examples to illustrate our main results.

Best proximity points for alternative p-contractions
AbstractCyclic mappings describe fixed paths for which each point is sequentially transmitted from one set to another. Cyclic mappings satisfying certain cyclic contraction conditions have been used to obtain the best proximity points, which constitute a suitable framework for the mirror reflection model.

Coincidence best proximity points for geraghty type proximal cyclic contractions
Summary: In this paper, we study the notions of generalized Geraghty proximal cyclic contractions for non-self mapping and obtain coincidence best proximity point theorems in the framework of complete metric spaces. Some examples are given to show the validity of our results. Our results extended and unify many existing results in the literature.

Objective The objectives of this study were to evaluate the correlation and agreement between ultrasonography and computed tomography (CT) in measuring ascending aorta diameter in patients with giant cell arteritis (GCA) and to investigate the development of new ascending aortic aneurysms in patients with newly diagnosed GCA.

Non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces and Best proximity point theorems [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce some new classes of proximal contraction mappings and establish best proximity point theorems for such kinds of mappings in a non-Archimedean fuzzy metric space.

Summary: Following the study for the best proximity points of the Suzuki type \(\alpha^+\)-\(\theta\)-proximal single-valued mappings given by \textit{N. Hussain} et al. [Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2016, Paper No. 14, 20 p. (2016; Zbl 1347.54085)], we deal with the Suzuki type \(\alpha^+\)-\(\theta\)-proximal multivalued mappings satisfying generalized ...

Objective Ultrasound (US) has been proposed as a potential tool for assessing skin fibrosis in systemic sclerosis (SSc). However, a large‐scale comparison of US‐based assessment with histologic markers of skin fibrosis has not been reported. We evaluated US‐based skin assessments for their face validity (differentiation between involved SSc and healthy

Best Proximity Point of Generalized θ-φ-Proximal Non-self Contractions
In this manuscript, motivated and inspired by results of Best proximity point of generalized F -proximal non-self contractions, we introduce the concept of generalized θ-φ-proximal contraction and prove new best proximity results for these contractions ...

On Best Proximity Point Results for Some Type of Mappings
In this paper, we give new conditions for existence and uniqueness of a best proximity point for Geraghty- and Caristi-type mappings. The presented results are most valuable generalizations of the Geraghty and Caristi fixed point theorems.
