Estimating the ecological drivers of insect abundance when detection is imperfect
Using a field‐based mark–recapture approach, the authors demonstrate that habitat quality can simultaneously influence insect abundance and detection. Simulation also showed that prioritizing increased sampling intensity over adding more study sites can improve accuracy of standard modelling approaches including GLMs or GLMMs, which do not account for ...

Our study provides replicated, experimental evidence that competitor release can result in an unintended and negative conservation outcome: seedfall from indigenous trees decreased when ship rats alone were controlled. Overall, our results support others' recent conclusions that comprehensive pest management strategies are key to maximise the benefits ...

Restoration induced long‐term vegetation change in oligotrophic peatlands
Here we show that restoration increases the resemblance to undrained peatlands, with little differences between the tree harvesting methods. We suggest that Sphagnum moss cover could be used in monitoring the success of restoration of nutrient poor peatlands. Our results highlight the necessity of long‐term monitoring.

Does Customization Promote Innovation? Evidence From Knowledge‐intensive Business Service Firms
Abstract The relationship between customization and innovation remains unclear in existing research. Customization requires firms to gain in‐depth knowledge of clients and the product attributes they need, and such knowledge is typically seen as vital for successful innovation.

Echoes of Pregnancy: Maternal Perception of Phantom Foetal Movements After Childbirth
ABSTRACT Objective Phantom foetal movements (PFMs) refer to the perception of foetal‐like abdominal sensations following pregnancy. Despite their prevalence, PFMs remain insufficiently studied, and their underlying mechanisms are poorly understood. This study aimed to examine the prevalence, characteristics and associated factors of PFMs in the general
