Molecular Tweezers for Biomimetic Recognition of Carbohydrates
Molecular tweezers have emerged as effective binders for biomolecules such as lipids, nucleic acids, and proteins, eliciting biological activities. Tweezer molecules, which exploit an open and adaptive binding cavity, can target relatively large guests, such as oligosaccharides and glycans, and often provide some advantages over corresponding ...

ABSTRACT Background Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) is standard following percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Preloading is the practice of administering both aspirin and a P2Y12 inhibitor before PCI. DAPT preloading is common practice, however clinical trial evidence demonstrating benefit is lacking.

Chemoenzymatic Total Synthesis of Lansai B
Lansai B was obtained in a chemoenzymatic approach from the small building block 5‐bromoindole utilizing two enzymes. Applying a tryptophan synthase and a further characterized C3‐methyltransferase the sterically demanding framework is constructed within just six steps. After late‐stage Suzuki‐coupling and n‐methylation the natural product was isolated.
