Research of investment risk using beta coefficient [PDF]

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Management Research, 2014
Beta coefcient is a measure of the investment or asset’s systematic risk in relation to the overall stock market. It enables comparison of a level of the risk of investments or assets with di€ferent characteristics. Before interpretation of its results, it is necessary to understand the speci city of this coeficient, the conditions of the capital ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

The beta function of N=1 SYM in Differential Renormalization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Using differential renormalization, we calculate the complete two-point function of the background gauge superfield in pure N=1 Supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory to two loops.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Existence of global strong solution for the compressible Navier-Stokes system and the Korteweg system in two-dimension

open access: yes, 2012
This paper is dedicated to the study of viscous compressible barotropic fluids in dimension N=2. We address the question of the global existence of strong solutions with large initial data for compressible Navier-Stokes system and Korteweg system. In the

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Measuring Risk Structure Using the Capital Asset Pricing Model

open access: yesActa Universitatis Agriculturae et Silviculturae Mendelianae Brunensis, 2015
This article is aimed at proposing of an inovative method for calculating the shares of operational and financial risks. This methodological tool will support managers while monitoring the risk structure.

Analyticity in Hubbard models

open access: yes, 1998
The Hubbard model describes a lattice system of quantum particles with local (on-site) interactions. Its free energy is analytic when \beta t is small, or \beta t^2/U is small; here, \beta is the inverse temperature, U the on-site repulsion and t the ...

Non-Oberbeck-Boussinesq effects in turbulent thermal convection in ethane close to the critical point [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
As shown in earlier work (Ahlers et al., J. Fluid Mech. 569, p.409 (2006)), non-Oberbeck Boussinesq (NOB) corrections to the center temperature in turbulent Rayleigh-Benard convection in water and also in glycerol are governed by the temperature ...

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...
