A characterization of bicompletable fuzzy quasi-metric spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2005
An internal characterization of fuzzy quasi-metric spaces which admit a fuzzy quasi-metric bicompletion is given, and the uniqueness of such a bicompletion is also proved.

Unsymmetric T0-quasi-metrics

, 2020
H.J.K. Junnila [9] called a neighbournet N on a topological space X unsymmetric provided that for each x , y ∈ X with y ∈ ( N ∩ N − 1 ) ( x ) we have that N ( x ) = N ( y ) .

Bicompleting the left quasi-uniformity of a paratopological group

Archiv der Mathematik, 1998
Extending results from the theory of topological groups to paratopological groups, the authors show that the bicompletion of the left quasi-uniformity of a paratopological \((T_0)\)-group \(G\) can be considered a topological semigroup which contains \(G\) as a sup-dense subsemigroup. Furthermore they characterize those paratopological \((T_0)\)-groups

Bispaces admitting only bicomplete or only totally bounded quasi-metrics

Rendiconti del Circolo Matematico di Palermo, 2001
The authors extend the following result: a (pseudo) metrizable topological space admits only complete (pseudo) metrics if and only if it is compact. In section 2 the above result is studied for quasi-(pseudo) metrizable bispaces. An example shows that it is not true that quasi-metrizable bispaces \((X,S,T)\) admit only bicomplete quasi-metrics if and ...

Quasi-uniform entropy under free semigroup actions on quasi-uniform spaces

Dynamical systems
In this article, we introduce the notion of quasi-uniform entropy under free semigroup actions on quasi-uniform spaces, which can be viewed as a quasi-uniform version generalization of the topological entropy under free semigroup actions defined by ...

FIBREWISE BICOMPLETE QUASI-UNIFORM SPACES

Far East Journal of Mathematical Sciences (FJMS), 2015
Summary: We introduce the notion of complete quasi-uniform spaces over a base space \(B\) and give some properties of these spaces. We introduce a general method to obtain fibrewise completion of quasi-uniform spaces over \(B\) and give internal descriptions of fibrewise completions for two different types.

Fixed point of multivalued maps on partially ordered bicomplete quasi-metric spaces

Discussiones Mathematicae Differential Inclusions, Control and Optimization
Summary: We introduce the concept of d-continuity and \(d^{-1}\)-continuity for multivalued mappings defined on a partially ordered quasi-metric spaces. Then, we prove several fixed point theorems for multivalued maps which generalize the existing results in the literature. At the end we give examples to illustrate our results.
