The spectral radius of bicyclic graphs with prescribed degree sequences
Restricted to the bicyclic graphs with prescribed degree sequences, we determine the (unique) graph with the largest spectral radius with respect to the adjacency ...

On the spectral radius of bicyclic graphs
The authors determine the graph with maximal spectral radius among connected bicyclic graphs of order \(n\), possessing \(k\) pendent vertices. This is the graph having two triangles with a common vertex at which \(k\) paths of almost equal length are attached.

Endocrine and androgenic response to altitude training in professional cyclists
Abstract figure legend Steroidal and endocrine variables are altered during altitude training. Abstract This study investigated endocrine and steroidal blood markers in 31 male elite cyclists monitored over 7 weeks, including a 3 week altitude training camp either at 2050 m (n = 19) or 3000 m (n = 12).

Signed bicyclic graphs minimizing the least Laplacian eigenvalue
A signed graph is a pair (G,sigma), where G is a graph and sigma is the sign function on the edges of G. For a signed graph we consider the Laplacian matrix defined as L=D-A, where D is the matrix of vertices degrees of G and is the (signed) adjacency ...

On the Extremal Weighted Mostar Index of Bicyclic Graphs
Let G be a simple connected graph with edge set E(G) and vertex set V(G). The weighted Mostar index of a graph G is defined as w+Mo(G)=∑e=uv∈E(G)(dG(u)+dG(v))|nu(e)−nv(e)|, where nu(e) denotes the number of vertices closer to u than to v for an edge uv ...

Abstract figure legend Twenty‐eight trained males completed 8 weeks of supervised indoor cycling training, receiving post‐exercise and pre‐sleep ketone monoester (KE, n = 14) or isocaloric placebo (CON, n = 14). Both groups improved 30 min time‐trial performance with training, but KE achieved a 4% higher power output than CON at the end of the training

ABSTRACT Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a debilitating neurodegenerative condition characterized by progressive cognitive impairment, memory deterioration, and neuronal dysfunction. Its complex pathophysiology involves multiple interlinked processes, including amyloid‐β (Aβ) aggregation, tau hyperphosphorylation, oxidative stress, neuroinflammation ...

Abstract This is the first study to comprehensively consider cycle instructor knowledge, motivation and behaviour when teaching children with disabilities. Using a prospective design, we used a questionnaire to measure COM‐B components before (N = 845), immediately after (N = 480) and 6 months after (N = 63) an online course for instructors.
