New Chalcones fromBidens pilosa

Planta Medica, 1988
Okanin 4'- O-beta- D-(2'',4'',6''-triacetyl)-glucoside, okanin 4'- O-beta- D-(6''- TRANS-P-coumaroyl)-glucoside, both new natural compounds, and okanin 3'- O-beta- D-glucoside have been isolated from the leaves of BIDENS PILOSA L. Their structures have been elucidated by means of UV, FD-MS, (1)H-NMR, and (13)C-NMR spectroscopy.

Bioactive Polyacetylenes fromBidens pilosa

Planta Medica, 1996
From the methanolic extract of the whole plants of Bidens pilosa the new beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy-3-hydroxy-6(E)-tetradecen-8, 10,12-triyne besides a known polyine has been isolated and identified mainly by IR and NMR methods. The new compound showed overgrowing action against normal and transformed human cell lines in culture.

Chalcone glucosides from Bidens pilosa

Phytochemistry, 1989
Abstract Five okanin glucosides and diglucosides have been isolated from the flowers of Bidens pilosa. Their structures have been determined by means of UV, FD-MS, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy.
