Discovery of a new polerovirus infecting Bidens pilosa
Abstract A new virus of the genus Polerovirus in the family Solemoviridae was identified in Bidens Pilosa displaying mosaic and mottle symptoms. Its nearly complete genome of 5,705 nucleotides (nt) contains seven open reading frames (ORFs). The virus shares nucleotide sequence identities 53.2–67.1% with other poleroviruses at whole genome level.
