Bietti crystalline dystrophy: a morpho-functional evaluation
Documenta Ophthalmologica, 2011We report the clinical findings and macular function of a patient with Bietti crystalline dystrophy. A 39-year-old woman reported visual loss in both eyes and nyctalopia. A complete ophthalmological evaluation, retromode imaging, SD-OCT acquisition, MP1 microperimetry, and multifocal electroretinogram (mfERG) were performed.

Bietti Crystalline Corneoretinal Dystrophy
2014Bietti crystalline dystrophy is a mixed dystrophy characterised by the presence of multiple, small refractive crystals situated in the retina, the choroid, the cornea and the lymphocytes. The disease is bilateral and progressive and results in chorioretinal atrophy of the posterior pole of the ocular fundus.

Bietti's crystalline fundus dystrophy.
Annals of ophthalmology, 1978Two cases of Bietti's crystalline fundus dystrophy are presented. The crystals in the posterior pole are associated with a diffuse tapetoretinal degeneration. The functional symptoms are less severe than in pigmentary retinopathy.
