Are Bifidobacterium Species Key Players in the Progression of Type 1 Diabetes? A Systematic Review

open access: yesEndocrinology, Diabetes &Metabolism, Volume 8, Issue 6, November 2025.
Bifidobacterium are generally considered beneficial bacteria, and are found in probiotic formulations currently being trialled for type 1 diabetes (T1D) prevention.
