Intrinsically Mitochondria‐Targeting Nanozyme via Coordination‐Assembly of Natural Quercetin for Cascade Antioxidant Therapy of Cerebral Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uncovers that quercetin naturally targets mitochondria. By coordinating quercetin with Fe3+, we engineer an ultrasmall cascade nanozyme (MCN) with superoxide dismutase‐catalase activities. MCN crosses the damaged blood–brain barrier, scavenges mitochondrial ROS, prevents mitochondrial DNA leakage, and blocks the cGAS‐STING pathway, thereby ...

Bifurcation and stability analysis of aircraft turning manoeuvres

open access: yes, 2008
During ground manoeuvres a loss of lateral stability due to the saturation of the main landing gear tyres can cause the aircraft to enter a skid or a spin. The lateral stability is governed not only by aspects of the gear design, such as its geometry and

ON THE SUPERCRITICALITY OF THE FIRST HOPF BIFURCATION IN A DELAY BOUNDARY PROBLEM

open access: yes, 2010
The goal of this paper is to analyze the character of the first Hopf bifurcation (subcritical versus supercritical) that appears in a one-dimensional reaction-diffusion equation with nonlinear boundary conditions of logistic type with delay. We showed in

Effects of AC induced electric fields on neuronal firing sensitivity and activity patterns

open access: yesFrontiers in Computational Neuroscience
IntroductionUnderstanding how neurons respond to time-varying electric fields is essential for both basic neuroscience and the development of neuromodulation strategies. However, the mechanisms by which alternating-current induced electric fields (AC-IEF)

Report of a Variation of the Right Common Carotid Artery [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Kerman University of Medical Sciences, 2018
Carotid artery is the most important artery that carries the major part of the blood supply to the head and neck. The branching of the common carotid artery usually occurs at the upper edge of the thyroid cartilage.

In‐Process Magnetization for 3D Printing of Magnetorheological Elastomer with Heterogeneous Magnetic Profile for Anisotropic Actuation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fully programmable, in‐process 3D magnetization integrated with multi‐material printing enables soft magnetic systems with precise actuation and sensing. Discrete and continuous magnetization profiles drive bending, morphing, and locomotion, demonstrated through strain‐sensing elements, dragonfly‐inspired wings, octopus‐like tentacles, and a serpentine

One‐Step Preparation of Lanthanide‐Doped Polyurea Multicolor Microspheres for Versatile Fluorescent Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lanthanide‐doped polyurea microspheres are prepared via a facile one‐step precipitation polymerization. They exhibit strong hydrogen‐bonding and coordination interactions with excellent properties, including multicolor emission, high quantum yield (75.3%), remarkable stability, redispersibility, and biocompatibility.

Some Applications of Bifurcation Formulae to the Period Maps of Delay Differential Equations

open access: yes, 2005
Our purpose is to present some applications of the bifurcation formulae derived in [13] for periodic delay differential equations. We prove that a sequence of Neimark-Sacker bifurcations occurs as the parameter increases.

Exploring dynamical features like bifurcation assessment, sensitivity visualization, and solitary wave solutions of the integrable Akbota equation

open access: yesNonlinear Engineering
The Akbota equation (AE), as a Heisenberg ferromagnetic-type equation, can be extremely valuable in the study of curve and surface geometry. In this study, we employ the well-known two analytical techniques, the modified Khater method and the new sub ...

Oscillation Controlling in Nonlinear Motorcycle Scheme with Bifurcation Study

open access: yesMathematics
By applying the Non-Perturbative Approach (NPA), the corresponding linear differential equation is obtained. Aimed at organizational investigation, the resulting linear equation is used.
