Review of Memristors for In‐Memory Computing and Spiking Neural Networks
Memristors uniquely enable energy‐efficient, brain‐inspired computing by acting as both memory and synaptic elements. This review highlights their physical mechanisms, integration in crossbar arrays, and role in spiking neural networks. Key challenges, including variability, relaxation, and stochastic switching, are discussed, alongside emerging ...

This study proposes a deep learning approach to evaluate the fatigue crack behavior in metals under overload conditions. Using digital image correlation to capture the strain near crack tips, convolutional neural networks classify crack states as normal, overload, or recovery, and accurately predict fatigue parameters.

The computation of disconnected bifurcation diagrams
Arclength continuation and branch switching are enormously successful algorithms for the computation of bifurcation diagrams. Nevertheless, their combination suffers from three significant disadvantages. The first is that they attempt to compute only the part of the diagram that is continuously connected to the initial data; disconnected branches are ...

Abstract Dicynodonts (Anomodontia: Dicynodontia) were one of the main groups of terrestrial tetrapods in Permian and Triassic faunas. In Brazil, the genus Dinodontosaurus is one of the most common tetrapod taxon in the Triassic Santa Maria Supersequence. This genus has a complex taxonomic history and is represented in the Triassic of both Argentina and

Dynamic Behavior and Bifurcation Analysis of a Modified Reduced Lorenz Model
This study introduces a newly modified Lorenz model capable of demonstrating bifurcation within a specified range of parameters. The model demonstrates various bifurcation behaviors, which are depicted as distinct structures in the diagram.

Qualitative bifurcation diagrams
This thesis explores the use of qualitative reasoning to predict the behavior of a dynamical system given a change in one of its parameters based upon a qualitative representation of its bifurcation diagram. Three algorithms were developed to perform this task.

Abstract The ray‐finned fishes include one out of every two species of living vertebrates on Earth and have an abundant fossil record stretching 380 million years into the past. The division of systematic knowledge of ray‐finned fishes between paleontologists working on extinct animals and neontologists studying extant species has obscured the ...
