Twenty‐Minute Microwave‐Enabled Dual‐Anion Nickel Sulfoselenide Anodes for High‐Capacity Sodium/Potassium‐Ion Batteries and Durable Pouch Cells

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A dual‐anion‐assisted strategy is proposed for designing bi‐functional high‐performance anodes. The preparation of NiSSe/N‐C within 20 min demonstrates rapid Na+/K+ reaction kinetics, exceptional rate capability, and remarkable cycling stability. Nickel‐based materials are promising anode candidates for sodium‐ion batteries and potassium‐ion batteries ...

Perturbation‐induced responses improved seizure forecasting in epileptic rats

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective The unpredictability of seizures is one of the most challenging aspects of uncontrolled epilepsy for patients. Prior work forecasting seizure risk has measured changes in passive intracranial electroencephalographic (EEG) signals, but currently, there are no such clinical devices available.

Eliminating disorderly A sites: Significantly enhanced external quantum efficiency of Bi3+ luminescence in double perovskite phosphor

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
The structural transformation from disorder to order was achieved by regulating the A‐site of double perovskite, boosting IQE and EQE to 78% and 43%, respectively. The excellent luminescence properties of the representative CYNO:1%Bi3+ phosphor highlight the multifunctional application potential in solid‐state lighting, fingerprint recognition, and ...

Characterization of Pulmonary Functional Abnormalities in Systemic Sclerosis Using Xenon MRI

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Xenon MRI is increasingly used to evaluate patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD) and pulmonary hypertension (PH), both of which are common manifestations of systemic sclerosis (SSc). As such, Xe‐MRI may be suited to interrogate lung function impairment in SSc.

Pre‐ and Post‐Interventional Hemodynamic Characterization of the Femoropopliteal Artery Using Vector Flow Imaging in Peripheral Arterial Occlusive Disease

open access: yesJournal of Ultrasound in Medicine, EarlyView.
Objectives The femoropopliteal (FP) artery is the most frequently revascularized segment in peripheral artery disease (PAD), followed by the iliac segment. Wall shear stress (WSS) is a key local factor implicated in both atherosclerotic plaque formation and restenosis after angioplasty.

Broadband Mode Converter With Customizable Modal Ratio Leveraging Subwavelength Engineering for Advanced Multimode Silicon Photonics

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
This work introduces a customizable mode converter for multimode silicon photonics, enabling precise control over the conversion ratio between optical modes. The device operates across a broad wavelength range (1350–1700 nm) with 15 distinct conversion levels.

Multimode Phonon Lasing via Self‐Induced Optical Coherent Pumping

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
A silicon optomechanical nanobeam generates self‐sustained phonon lasing in multiple competing mechanical modes via self‐pulsing, an intrinsic optical modulation arising from cavity nonlinearity. This self‐organized mechanism enables robust multi‐frequency operation spanning periodic, quasi‐periodic, and chaotic regimes without external modulation. The
