Bifurcation Curves in Discontinuous Maps [PDF]
Several discrete-time dynamic models are ultimately expressed in the form of iterated piecewise linear functions, in one or two-dimensional spaces. In this paper we study a one-dimensional map made up of three linear pieces which are separated by two ...

Continuation of Newton’s Method Through Bifurcation Points [PDF]
A modification of Newton’s method is suggested that provides a practical means of continuing solutions of nonlinear differential equations through limit points or bifurcation points.

Femtosecond‐Laser‐Induced Physical Unclonable Random Maze Structure for Storage‐Free Encryption
Femtosecond‐laser‐induced gold random maze structures serve as multimodal physical unclonable functions for storage‐free encryption. Their stochastic optical, electrical, and Raman responses are generated by plasmon‐assisted Marangoni formation and converted into AES‐compatible keys without permanent secret‐key storage, offering a portable route toward

Adaptivity and a posteriori error control for bifurcation problems III: incompressible fluid flow in open systems with O(2) symmetry [PDF]
In this article we consider the a posteriori error estimation and adaptive mesh refinement of discontinuous Galerkin finite element approximations of the bifurcation problem associated with the steady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations.

A brain‐targeted nanoparticle enables delivery of a therapeutic nanobody (Nb.29E9) that inhibits pathogenic GSK3β signaling. This intervention restores AMPK/mTORC1/TGFβ homeostasis, attenuates neuroinflammation and oxidative stress, and promotes long‐term functional recovery after ischemic stroke.

The local Bifurcation of Dynamic Behavior of Predator-Prey System with Refuge for both Species
The main purpose of this paper is to study a predator – prey dynamical system consisting of three species prey, specialized predator and generalist predator namely H (t), I (t) and J (t) respectively, w food web and refuge for the prey and specialized ...

Largest Lyapunov Exponents and Bifurcations of Stochastic Nonlinear Systems
Two commonly adopted expressions for the largest Lyapunov exponents of linearized stochastic systems are reviewed. Their features are discussed in light of bifurcation analysis and one expression is selected for evaluating the largest Lyapunov exponent ...

An interfacial proton‐relay microenvironment at MoS2‐CuCl heterostructures enables selective O2 activation to 1O2 under neutral conditions. Electron‐deficient sulfur sites mediate proton transfer to Cu‐bound O2, accelerating *OOH hydrogenation while suppressing O─O bond cleavage, achieving stable, efficient pollutant removal.
