Isolated bilateral congenital lacrimal gland agenesis—a case series
Journal of American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, 2021We report 2 pediatric cases of isolated bilateral congenital lacrimal gland agenesis (CLGA). Patient 1 (1 year of age) and patient 2 (2 years of age) presented with symptoms of alacrimia and were diagnosed with bilateral isolated CLGA based on magnetic resonance imaging. Both patients were otherwise healthy, with no systemic associations.

Bilateral vestibulopathy and disabling vertigo: A CARE case series
European Annals of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Diseases, 2023The term bilateral vestibulopathy (BV) was recently defined by the Bárány Society. Loss of otolith function was not included in their criteria. Although spontaneous progression to complete bilateral impairment of vestibular function is expected, it is unlikely that patients with advanced BV will continue to present episodes of intense vertigo.

On the Bilateral Series $_2_2$
2007We obtain a formula which reduces the evaluation of a $_2 _2$ series to two $_2 _1$ series. In some sense, this identity may be considered as a companion of Slater's formulas. We also find that a two-term ${}_2 _2$ summation formula due to Slater can be derived from a unilateral summation formula of Andrews by bilateral extension and parameter ...

Fetal Bilateral Obstructive Uropathy: A Series of Nine Cases
Pediatric Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, 1995Bilateral obstructive uropathy is increasingly diagnosed in early pregnancy by ultrasound examination. Termination of pregnancy presented an opportunity to study uropathy in nine cases between 18 and 24 weeks of gestation. En bloc dissection of the urinary tract and subserial sectioning of the urethra revealed obstruction at the level of the ...

Bilateral Control of SeNZA—A Series Hybrid Electric Bicycle
IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2017The need for reducing pollution, congestion, and energy consumption is increasing the interest in light electric vehicles. E-bikes can play an important role in this scenario, since they are cost effective, easy to use, and have a small footprint. This paper explores the series hybrid electric bicycle concept.

Case Series: Bilateral Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachments in Atopic Dermatitis
Optometry and Vision Science, 2018SIGNIFICANCE Bilateral occurrence of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment is a potentially blinding condition seen most commonly in patients with atopic dermatitis. Poor control of the skin condition may lead to simultaneous or sequential retinal detachment and even development of complications such as proliferative ...

A CASE SERIES OF BILATERAL BRANCHIAL SINUS
GLOBAL JOURNAL FOR RESEARCH ANALYSISPeriod of organogenesis is of very precise duration and any factor affecting this period leads to congenital anomaly. Bilateral branchial anomalies are rare (2-3%) increased incidence in familial cases1. Although present at birth, many cases do not become evident until late in childhood and adolescence.

Certain product theorems for bilateral hypergeometric series
Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1966Introduction. Agarwalin 1953 ((1)) gave the most general transformations involving bilateral cognate trigonometrical series of the hypergeometric type. Later, Shukla in 1957 ((2)) gave certain relations involving the products of two bilateral hypergeometric series.
