Face Recognition System Using Local Binary Pattern with Binary Dragonfly Algorithm to Feature Selection

open access: yes2022 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence of Things (ICAIoT), 2022
In this paper, the local binary pattern is used to feature extraction, and the Binary Dragonfly Algorithm (BDA) is exploited to find the optimum features. This is a new methodology for face recognition systems. A proposed face acknowledgment framework was created to be utilized for various purposes.

On–off Thinning in Linear Antenna Arrays Using Binary Dragonfly Algorithm

Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering, 2021
The aim of this work is to study the suitability of two newly introduced bio-inspired algorithms, namely the dragonfly algorithm (DA) and the salp swarm algorithm (SSA) for thinning a linear antenna array. In array thinning, a fully populated array is chosen as a starting point, and a thinned array is obtained through careful deactivation of select ...

An enhanced color visual cryptography scheme based on the binary dragonfly algorithm

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computers and Applications, 2022
Visual cryptography is an encryption technique that decomposes a secret image into multiple shares that are digitally ‘overlapped’ based on logical operations to recover the original secret image.

An enhanced binary dragonfly algorithm based on a V-shaped transfer function for optimization of pump scheduling program in water supply systems (case study of Iran)

Engineering Failure Analysis, 2021
Abstract With the continual growth of population and shortage of energy resources, the optimal consumption of these resources is of particular importance. One of these energy sources is electricity, with a significant amount being used in pumping stations for water distribution systems (WDS).
