ON THE BINARY DIGITS OF ALGEBRAIC NUMBERS [PDF]
AbstractBorel conjectured that all algebraic irrational numbers are normal in base 2. However, very little is known about this problem. We improve the lower bounds for the number of digit changes in the binary expansions of algebraic irrational numbers.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Modeling the dependence between the number of trials and the success probability in binary trials
A model for binary trials based on a bivariate generalization of the Poisson process for both the number of successes and number of trials with the transition rates dependent on the accumulating numbers of successes and trials is used to reanalyze some ...

General rules of evaluating binary number divisibility on prime numbers
This research paper is to define new rule to find the divisibility of stream of binary on any prime numbers 3, 5, 7 …… with reminder 0. In general, the divisibility of binary numbers is most important in many digital circuits and mathematical ...

Dyck Words, Lattice Paths, and Abelian Borders [PDF]
We use results on Dyck words and lattice paths to derive a formula for the exact number of binary words of a given length with a given minimal abelian border length, tightening a bound on that number from Christodoulakis et al.

Guiding AlphaFold to predict how Munc13‐1 opens Syntaxin‐1
The syntaxin‐1 Habc‐domain (orange), linker (pink) and SNARE motif (yellow) form a closed conformation that binds to Munc18‐1 (violet) and is opened by the Munc13‐1 MUN domain (cyan) to form the SNARE complex that triggers neurotransmitter release.
