On the reduction of binary quadratic forms
We give an interpretation of the reduction algorithm of Gauss in terms of carks, which are certain types of infinite ribbon graphs (or infinite dessins). We then describe an alternative reduction which is slightly faster than Gauss’. We also solve the minimal value problem and describe an algorithmic solution to the representation problem of indefinite

Modular Electronic Microrobots With Onboard Sensor‐Program‐Steered Locomotion
Modular electronic smartlet microrobots integrate ambient‐light energy harvesting, photodetection, programmable CMOS control, and bubble‐based actuation within a sub‐millimeter fold‐up architecture. A 58‐bit on‐board CMOS chiplet enables sensor–program steered switching between independently addressable actuators, achieving closed‐loop 2D navigation in

Enabling Stochastic Dynamic Games for Robotic Swarms
This paper scales stochastic dynamic games to large swarms of robots through selective agent modeling and variable partial belief space planning. We formulate these games using a belief space variant of iterative Linear Quadratic Gaussian (iLQG). We scale to teams of 50 agents through selective modeling based on the estimated influence of agents ...

In this degree thesis, we present some of the theory of integer binary quadratic forms, namely the classification by discriminant, proper equivalence relation, the composition laws and their connection to the ideal class groups. We will also see how quadratic forms are intrinsically connected to some other areas of mathematics, such as the continued ...

Inspired by the multi‐tissue architecture of the human fingertip dermis (A), this work introduces a mixture design using three PolyJet materials (AC/TM/GM) to expand the achievable elastomer property space (B). An inverse design pipeline (i‐Tac) is developed to map target optical/mechanical requirements to optimal material compositions (C), enabling ...

A Flexible and Energy‐Efficient Compute‐in‐Memory Accelerator for Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks
This article presents KA‐CIM, a compute‐in‐memory accelerator for Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks (KANs). It enables flexible and efficient computation of arbitrary nonlinear functions through cross‐layer co‐optimization from algorithm to device. KA‐CIM surpasses CPU, ASIC, VMM‐CIM, and prior KAN accelerators by 1–3 orders of magnitude in energy‐delay ...
