Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...

Error Probability Bounds for Balanced Binary Relay Trees
We study the detection error probability associated with a balanced binary relay tree, where the leaves of the tree correspond to $N$ identical and independent detectors.

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Topological self-similarity on the random binary-tree model
Asymptotic analysis on some statistical properties of the random binary-tree model is developed. We quantify a hierarchical structure of branching patterns based on the Horton-Strahler analysis.

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Rule Acquisition Algorithm Based on Enriching Discernibility Matrix [PDF]
Currently, the discernibility matrix method which is based on HU is not only time-consuming but also takes up a lot of storage space,so that the efficiency of the method is not high. Some scholars use the method of pairwise comparisons between elements to ...

Submodularity and Optimality of Fusion Rules in Balanced Binary Relay Trees
We study the distributed detection problem in a balanced binary relay tree, where the leaves of the tree are sensors generating binary messages. The root of the tree is a fusion center that makes the overall decision.
