A new stereo matching algorithm for binocular vision
Proceedings of the 2009 International Conference on Hybrid Information Technology, 2009The stereo matching algorithms for binocular vision are very popular and widely applied. However, the algorithms may have lower matching quality or higher time complexity. To improve that, a new stereo matching algorithm based on square and gradient for binocular vision is proposed in the paper.

Distance Measurement Algorithm Based on Binocular Stereo Vision
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014Distance measurement technology of binocular stereo vision has the advantages of wide-range detection, simplicity and reliability. The method is widely applied to robot obstacle avoidance and path planning. Binocular stereo vision can only measure the distance of images feature points generally.

Fixation Points Estimation Based on Binocular Stereo Vision
Proceedings of the 2020 4th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing, 2020This paper proposes a method of fixation points estimation combining the two-dimension mapping model with three-dimension stereo vision. The purpose of our study is to design an easy-to-use non-contact gaze tracking system under natural light. The method of two-dimension mapping is easy to achieve, however, it needs the user to keep the head being ...

Distance Measurement System Based on Binocular Stereo Vision
2009 International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2009This system is modeled on the distance perception methods of human eyes. It uses DSP to process the images obtained by two CCD cameras and calculate the distance by the principle of parallax. This paper describes the working principle and hardware platform design.

Design for AGV Based on Binocular Stereo Vision
Advanced Materials Research, 2011Based on the sliding mode variable structure control theory, the sliding mode control algorithm is proposed for a nonholonomic mobile robot system. The Lyapunov function and exponential approximation law are used for designing the control law of the mobile robot.

Binocular stereo vision system design for lunar rover
SPIE Proceedings, 2007In this paper, we integrate a pair of CCD cameras and a digital pan/title of two degrees of freedom into a binocular stereo vision system, which simulates the panoramic cameras system of the lunar rover. The constraints for placement and parameters choice of the stereo cameras pair are proposed based on science objective of Chang'e-IImission.

Measuring propeller blade width using binocular stereo vision
Journal of Marine Science and Application, 2011Propeller blade width measurement has been extensively studied in the past using direct and indirect methods, and it plays a great role in determining the quality of the finished products. It has surveyed that previous techniques are usually time-consuming and erroneous due to a large number of points to be processed in blade width measurement.

Multi-object Detection Based on Binocular Stereo Vision
2016This paper proposes a new multi-object detection system based on binocular stereo vision. Firstly, we calibrate the two cameras to get intrinsic and extrinsic parameters and transformation matrix of the two cameras. Secondly, stereo rectify and stereo match is done to get a disparity map with image pairs acquired by binocular camera synchronously. Thus

3-D reconstruction based on binocular stereo vision
SPIE Proceedings, 2009Stereo Vision based 3-D reconstruction is the focus of computer vision research. The essence for 3-D reconstruction is to use disparity information, which recovers the depth information from 2-D images. This paper mainly discusses 3-D reconstruction based on binocular stereo vision. Single camera could acquire images from different perspectives. The
