Herbicide Metabolic Resistance in Poaceae Plants via the GA‐GID1/DELLA‐DOF2‐P450s Module

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Plant hormone signaling modulates herbicide resistance in Echinochloa crus‐galli. The GA–DELLA–DOF2 cascade directly activates P450 detoxification genes in two Poaceae species, uncovering a core mechanism of metabolic herbicide resistance. ABSTRACT Barnyard grass (Echinochloa crus‐galli) is one of the world's most important weeds, and the evolution of ...

Interference of ATP‐Binding Cassette Transporter by Functional Nano‐Delivery System for High Efficiency Management of Insecticide‐Resistant Nilaparvata lugens

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A ZIF‐90 nanocarrier delivers dinotefuran and suppresses NlABCG3 and NlABCH1 in resistant Nilaparvata lugens. This system combines pH/ATP‐triggered release with enhanced foliar retention, improving efficacy while sparing honeybees and promoting rice growth, offering a promising resistance‐breaking strategy.

Artificial Intelligence‐Guided Phenotypic Drug Repurposing Against Streptococcus pneumoniae

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated artificial intelligence (AI) ensembles identify highly potent repurposed drugs against Streptococcus pneumoniae. Prospective virtual screening of 6747 drugs uncovers nine active candidates, including thiostrepton. This drug exhibits low picomolar potency and bypasses established resistance in multidrug‐resistant strains, demonstrating an ...
