Utilization of palm oil waste as bioenergy

open access: yesSustinere: Journal of Environment and Sustainability, 2019
Palm oil is one of the most widely produced plantation commodities in the world. World demand for palm oil is also increasing due to the increasing demand for products that use palm oil. This increase ultimately results in the development of the palm oil

Characterization of Biobriquette from Carbonized Durian Peel Using Coconut Shell as the Binder

open access: yesAJARCDE (Asian Journal of Applied Research for Community Development and Empowerment), 2023
This research aimed to study the characteristics of carbonized durian peel biobriquette using tar as a binder. A 1:10 ratio of binder and carbonized durian peel was used. The 25, 50, and 75% (coded as P1, P2, and P3, respectively) tar were used as a binder alongside tapioca flour to produce a binder with different tar concentrations.

Physical Characterization and Desulfurization of Biobriquette Using Calcium-Based Adsorbent

open access: yesMakara Journal of Technology, 2013
Combustion of coal and co-combustion of their co-fuel contribute to gas emissions. Among the gas emissions are SOx, NOx, CO and CO2. Introduction of calcium based adsorbent is addressed to absorb SO2 that release to the atmosphere during the combustion process.

Self-Denitrification Behavior of Biobriquette Added with Pulp Black Liquid.

open access: yesKAGAKU KOGAKU RONBUNSHU, 1998

Optimisation of Biobriquette Production Enriched with Burning Lighter Materials

open access: yesAgro Bali : Agricultural Journal
. The increasing trend of fossil fuel consumption is inversely proportional to the available natural gas reserves. Renewable energy sources derived from biomass are needed to become alternative fuels, such as biobriquettes. This study aims to optimize biobriquette production by adding burning initiator materials to obtain the best composition that ...

The Effect of adding Coconut Shells and Corn Husk to Biobriquettes from Fish Bone Waste

open access: yesJurnal Presipitasi
Biomass generates a large amount of waste. One of these is fish bones, corn husks, and coconut shells. Fish bone waste has the potential to be used as biobriquettes because it contains 10.16% carbon.
