Opinion and report of the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) relating to an analysis of the health risks associated with exposure to caterpillars with stinging hairs and the development of management recommendations

open access: yesFood Risk Assess Europe, Volume 3, Issue 2, April 2025.
Abstract Several species of Lepidoptera with caterpillars bearing urticating hairs are increasing their range in metropolitan France from year to year, such as the pine processionary (Thaumetopoea pityocampa Denis et Schiffermüller 1775) whose presence was historically limited to the south of France, and which is gradually being observed in the north ...

Mathematical Modeling for Cactus Pear Juice Concentration Kinetics and a Study of the Physicochemical Changes During the Concentration Process

open access: yesJournal of Food Processing and Preservation, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Cactus pear juice was concentrated by applying a rotary vacuum evaporator at different temperatures (50°C, 60°C, 70°C, and 80°C). The kinetics of the juice concentration based on the change in total soluble solid content was investigated by applying five mathematical models.

Optimization of the Microwave‐Assisted Extraction of Total Phenolic Compounds (TPCs) From Almond Skins Through Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) and Assessment of the Antioxidant and Antihyperglycemic Activity of the Extracts

open access: yesJournal of Food Processing and Preservation, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Optimization by response surface methodology (RSM) and artificial neural networks (ANNs) was efficaciously applied to study the operating parameters of microwave‐assisted extraction (MAE) in the recovery of total phenolic compounds (TPCs) from almond skins.

Structural and functional insights into Saccharomyces cerevisiae Tpa1, a putative prolylhydroxylase influencing translation termination and transcription. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Biol Chem, 2010
International audienceEfficiency of translation termination relies on the specific recognition of the three stop codons by the eukaryotic translation termination factor eRF1. To date only a few proteins are known to be involved in translation termination

open access: yes, 2023
During my thesis, I worked on the molecular and structural study of protein:RNA complexes involved in the life cycle of human immunodeficiency virus type-1 (HIV-1).

Crystal structure of AFV3-109, a highly conserved protein from crenarchaeal viruses. [PDF]

open access: yesVirol J, 2007
The extraordinary morphologies of viruses infecting hyperthermophilic archaea clearly distinguish them from bacterial and eukaryotic viruses. Moreover, their genomes code for proteins that to a large extend have no related sequences in the extent ...

Evidence for a Xer/dif system for chromosome resolution in archaea. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS Genet, 2010
Homologous recombination events between circular chromosomes, occurring during or after replication, can generate dimers that need to be converted to monomers prior to their segregation at cell division.

The usage of alternative splice sites in Mus musculus synaptotagmin-like 2 gene is modulated by cyclosporin A and FK506 in T-lymphocytes.

open access: yes, 2007
Cyclosporin-A and FK506 block the calcineurin activity preventing the transcription of genes sharing NFAT-like binding sequences in their promoter region.
