Toxicity of three comercial tannins to the nuisance invasive species Limnoperna fortunei (Dunker, 1857): implications for control [PDF]
Adding biocides to water is one strategy to control macrofouling organisms. A natural biocide that helps to prevent/control macrofouling of Limnoperna fortunei (Dunker, 1857) on human installations is one way to minimize environmental impacts of ...

Out of 136 identified EPNs, only 18 (8 Steinernema and 6 Heterorhabditis) are commercialised globally, highlighting a major gap between discovery and application. High production costs and inconsistent field efficacy are the leading obstacles to the widespread commercialisation of EPN‐based biocontrol products.

Efficiency of an ortho-phthalaldehyde based biocide Against Pseudomonas fluorescens adhered to stainless steel surfaces [PDF]
This work reports the study of the action of ortho-phthalaldehyde, OPA, to control Pseudomonas fluorescens adhered to stainless steel surfaces. The action of the biocide was assessed, in situ, microscopically using LIVE/DEAD® BacLight™ Bacterial ...
