This study introduces a conductive nerve guidance conduit integrated with wireless electrical stimulation through alternating magnetic fields, which induces currents and creates a supportive microenvironment for nerve regeneration. In vivo studies show that this approach significantly enhanced myelin restoration, gastrocnemius muscle regeneration ...

Bioresorbable and Wireless Rechargeable Implanted Na‐ion Battery for Temporary Medical Devices
An all‐solid‐state bioresorbable Na‐ion battery is developed, composed entirely of bio‐eliminable materials. In vivo and ex vivo tests confirmed harmless disintegration of this implanted battery. Lifetime of the implanted battery can be precisely controlled by adjusting the dissolvable encapsulation layer's thickness.

Using biocompatible materials as substrate coating for electric field enhancement in tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy [PDF]
In this article, tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS) is investigated as a precise method for analysis of biological samples. Using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) simulation, it has been tried to design the required structures for analysis of these samples.

One-Pot Multi-component Synthesis of 1,4-Dihydropyridine Derivatives in Biocompatible Deep Eutectic Solvents [PDF]
An efficient protocol for the synthesis of differently substituted 1, 4-dihydropyridines in deep eutectic solvents under solvent-free conditions is reported herewith. Excellent yields of the resultant products have been obtained. Recyclability studies have also been performed for deep eutectic solvents with very little loss in activity up to five ...

Microsphere solid state biolasers [PDF]
Microsphere solid-state biolasers made of biomaterials-bovine serum albumin, pectin and cellulose are demonstrated. The fabrication is simple, based on emulsion, and with green processing. A lasing threshold of 1 microJ/mm2 and Q factor of 3000 are measured. The lasers are biocompatible, do not interfere with cell growth and division.
