Les conditions d'une gestion économique de la biodiversité - Un parallèle avec le changement climatique

open access: yes, 2005
To which extent biodiversity may be amenable to an economically framed management? In order to give light on this question, the paper begins with a characterization of the economic representation of the world.

Diversity and Dispersal of Fungi Along a Subtropical Land‐to‐Sea Continuum

open access: yesEnvironmental Microbiology Reports, Volume 18, Issue 2, April 2026.
This study investigates the marine mycobiome by integrating cross‐habitat sampling with a long‐read amplicon sequencing approach. The results provide novel insights into the largely unexplored fungal diversity in coastal ecosystems and highlight the role of dispersal, evidenced by the detection of transported terrestrial fungal taxa.

A Global Land Use and Biomass Approach to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Fossil Fuel Use and to Preserve Biodiversity [PDF]

open access: yes
As average growth consumptions per capita and world population will continue to grow, the promotion of sustainable developments during the next half a century implies to take into account environmental aspects, local potentialities and futures changes in

Distribution, scale, and drivers of mass mortality events in Europe's freshwater bivalves

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 40, Issue 2, April 2026.
Abstract Mass mortality events (MMEs) are decimating populations and compromising key ecosystem functions around the globe. One taxon particularly vulnerable to MMEs is freshwater bivalve mollusks. This group has important ecosystem engineering capacities and includes highly threatened and highly invasive taxa.

ANIS‐E: An Atlas of Marine Non‐Indigenous Species in Europe

open access: yesGlobal Ecology and Biogeography, Volume 35, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Motivation Non‐Indigenous Species (NIS) pose a major threat to global biodiversity and incur substantial environmental, economic and health costs. Yet, in marine ecosystems, invasion biogeography remains constrained by the limited availability of spatially explicit and consistently documented native range information, which is essential for ...
