Analytical Biochemistry, 1978Abstract A simple and rapid colorimetric method, applicable to extracts of biological samples, is reported for measuring the toxic amino acid l -α-amino-β-methylenecyclopropylpropionic acid (hypoglycin). By fluorimetry, as little as 10 nmol (0.14 μg) can be assayed.

Assay of hydroxyfarrerol in biological fluids
Journal of Chromatography A, 1990A high-performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of hydroxyfarrerol (IdB 1031) in biological samples was developed. IdB 1031 was first extracted by liquid-solid partition and the extracts were evaporated and analysed on a reversed-phase column under isocratic conditions, using either an electrochemical or a UV detector.

Automated biological assay of cholecystokinin

This allows samples to be applied automatically, thus greatly increasing the number of samples, the ease of performance of the assay and its clinical significance.
