Ni2 bispincer complexes with an embedded central imido anchor are presented. The bispincer complexes leverage the high basicity of imido ligands to facilitate 1,2 addition of weak B─H and Si─H bonds, resulting in hydrido–amido complexes and resultingly a contortion of a Ni─Ni sigma bond to form an S = 1 species. The 1,2 addition is proposed to serve as

Unbiased Reaction Network Exploration of C–C Coupling in Methane Dehydroaromatization Over Mo‐ZSM‐5
Automated reaction route mapping reveals distinct methane coupling pathways over mono‐ and dinuclear Mo carbide species in ZSM‐5. Mononuclear [MoC]2+ selectively forms desorbable C2H4, whereas dinuclear [Mo2C2]2+ promotes strongly adsorbed C3/C4 intermediates linked to coke formation.

The article describes the synthesis and molecular transformations of a silica‐supported bis(phosphine)methylplatinum(II) complex under reactive (H2, CO) and inert gas atmospheres. The focus lies on the stabilizing effect of the sterically non‐demanding trimethylphosphine ligand, which alters the reactivity of the surface sites, compared to other ...

Ru nanoparticles confined within mesoporous SiOx‐pillared montmorillonite exhibit exceptional performance for CO2 methanation. The catalyst maintains a high reaction rate even at elevated CO2 conversion while preserving high Ru mass–specific activity, overcoming typical inhibition by H2O and CO observed in conventional supported Ru catalysts.
