Analysis on evaluation indicators of slagging in boilers co-firing coal with biomass
The power generation by co-firing of coal and biomass is the most economical and efficient technology for existing coal-fired power plants to achieve CO2 emission reduction and large-scale efficient utilization of biomass. However, due to the significant

ABSTRACT The emerging concept of Hubs for Circularity (H4Cs) presents an opportunity to create collaborative, self‐sustaining regional industrial ecosystems that drive circular economy transitions at scale. However, the operationalisation of H4Cs faces financial, organisational and data‐driven challenges.

Removal of Dyes by Biosorption on Biomass Ash [PDF]
The use of low cost and ecofriendly adsorbent has been investigated as an alternative to the current expensive method of removing dyes from wastewater. Cow dung cakes were collected from the nearby village which was burnt in a muffle furnace at to obtain the required ash.

Upscaling of batch adsorption of Cr(VI) using biomass ash: A case for the use of Pyomo and SymPy
Prosopis trees, an invasive species, are used as biomass in boilers. The resulting biomass ash introduces a new disposal problem. To meet the demands of the circular economy, it was proposed to investigate the use of biomass ash as an adsorbent for heavy

Removal of phosphorus from wastewaters by biomass ashes
Removal batch assays of phosphates from a synthetic wastewater (SWW) and a pulp and paper mill wastewater (PPWW) with two forestry biomass ashes were performed. The supernatants were not only chemically characterized but also the ecotoxicity was determined using two organisms: Vibrio fischeri and Artemia franciscana.
