A new world natural vegetation map for global change studies

open access: yesAnais da Academia Brasileira de Ciências, 2008
We developed a new world natural vegetation map at 1 degree horizontal resolution for use in global climate models. We used the Dorman and Sellers vegetation classification with inclusion of a new biome: tropical seasonal forest, which refers to both ...

AS‐pHopt: An Optimal pH Prediction Model Enhanced by Active Site of Enzymes

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
To address the low accuracy of enzyme optimal pH (pHopt) prediction, this study develops active site‐based pHopt (AS‐pHopt), a prediction model enhanced by active site information and pseudo‐label prediction. Integrating key structural and physicochemical features affecting enzyme pHopt, AS‐pHopt uses Evolutionary Scale Modeling (ESM)‐2 with active ...

Pathogenic PF4/Polyanion ELISA‐Negative Antibodies in HIT

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Platelet factor 4‐polyanion enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) are considered highly sensitive for diagnosing heparin‐induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), such that current practice guidelines recommend use of ELISA‐negative results to exclude HIT.
