Integrated O2 and H2 Gas Therapy via Microneedle‐Assisted Photocatalytic Water Splitting for Accelerating Diabetic Full‐Thickness Skin Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A concept of integrated O2 and H2 gas therapy is achieved using a gas‐producing material. PMP nanoparticles, fabricated from platinum, MIL‐101(Fe)‐NH2, and phosphotungstic acid, are integrated into bilayer gelatin methacryloyl microneedles for transdermal delivery. These microneedles enable integrated O2 and H2 gas therapy and promote wound healing via

Tailoring Photochromism Beyond Human Eye Visibility: On/Off Switchable NIR Absorption in an Aluminosilicate

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A new photochromic material was developed. Its on/off‐switchable absorption band is situated completely outside the human eye's visibility, in the near‐infrared (NIR) region, a feature never reported before. The photochromism mechanism in this aluminosilicate is elucidated by combining experimental as well as computational results, and the material's ...

Radiation‐Triggered Chemokine‐Secreting Probiotics for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy Based Radioimmunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Engineered Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 with a tannic acid‐mediated BPA coating enables tumor‐targeted boron delivery for BNCT. The low‐level incidental radiation generated during BNCT activate a RecA‐driven circuit to induce CXCL10, while radiation‐enhanced bacterial colonization triggers in situ vaccination and systemic antitumor immunity.

Cell Segmentation Beyond 2D—A Review of the State‐of‐the‐Art

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Cell segmentation underpins many biological image analysis tasks, yet most deep learning methods remain limited to 2D despite the inherently 3D nature of cellular processes. This review surveys segmentation approaches beyond 2D, comparing 2.5D and fully 3D methods, analyzing 31 models and 32 volumetric datasets, and introducing a unified reference ...

Parametric Analysis of Spiking Neurons in 16 nm Fin Field‐Effect Transistor Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Energy efficient computing has driven a shift toward brain‐inspired neuromorphic hardware. This study explores the design of three distinct silicon neuron topologies implemented in 16 nm fin field‐Effect transistor technology. While the Axon‐Hillock design achieves gigahertz throughput, its functional fragility persists. The Morris–Lecar model captures

Association of DPP4 with esophageal stricture progression and the Hippo‐YAP pathway

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
This study establishes a comprehensive translational platform for esophageal stricture (ES) research by integrating a novel rat model with clinically relevant porcine validation. This study identifies DPP4 as a gene of interest associated with ES following endoscopic submucosal dissection, demonstrating that prophylactic DPP4 inhibition attenuates ...
