Ultrasound images of an intrathyroidal parathyroid carcinoma. ABSTRACT Parathyroid carcinoma (PC) is a rare and aggressive endocrine malignancy. Rarer still is PC presenting in an intrathyroidal location. We report the first case of a biochemically normal intrathyroidal parathyroid carcinoma and review the literature on this rare clinical entity.
