3D Wiring Microelectrodes in a PMMA Microfluidic Device by Vacuum Filling Method

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This paper proposes a method for fabricating 3D wiring microelectrodes in arbitrary designs within 3D‐printed microfluidics. By attaching a PDMS lid and using vacuum filling, low‐melting‐point alloy (LMA) is introduced into microchannels. This enables the creation of 50 µm microelectrodes, including complex shapes.

Remote‐Controlled Wireless Bioelectronics for Fluoxetine Therapy to Promote Wound Healing in a Porcine Model

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A wireless bioelectronic ion pump platform is developed for controlled fluoxetine delivery for wound healing in a large mammal model. Over 3 days, treated wounds showed 37% greater re‐epithelialization and a 33% lower ratio of pro‐inflammatory to reparative macrophages.

In vivo Terahertz Sensing of Skin Cancer Patients

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This study presents the first in vivo measurements of skin cancer patients in a hospital setting using a handheld THz probe. Furthermore, a new analysis approach is developed to generate a patient‐normalized THz response function, which enables clear contrast to be seen between cancer and healthy skin of the same patient. The first in vivo study of skin

Anisotropic Surface Microrollers for Endovascular Navigation: A Computational Analysis with a Case Study in Hepatic Perfusion

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
Computational fluid dynamics analyses assess the upstream locomotion performance of anisotropic microrollers with varying height‐to‐width ratios. Observing their successful upstream locomotion in veins, their performance in hepatic circulation is investigated for treating primary liver cancer.
