Sugarcane breeding array 1.0: A high‐density SNP chip for genomic studies and molecular breeding

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, EarlyView.
Sugarcane Breeding Array 1.0, a high‐density single‐nucleotide polymorphism array, is based on deep whole‐genome resequencing of diverse sugarcane accessions. Validation demonstrated its robust performance and cost‐effectiveness in population structure analysis, genome‐wide association studies, and molecular breeding applications.

NBRP, National Bioresource Project of Japan and plant bioresource management

open access: yesNBRP, National Bioresource Project of Japan and plant bioresource management
The National BioResource Project has been organized and established to promote research activities using valuable bioresources. A total of twenty-eight bioresources for ten animals, nine plants and nine microorganisms/cell lines developed or collected in Japan were selected for the project. Resources are categorized into several different groups in the

Persistent Sleep Disturbance Following Pandemic Lockdowns: Longitudinal Findings From the UK COVID‐19 Symptom Study Biobank

open access: yesJournal of Sleep Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Sleep disturbance and fatigue were highly prevalent during the COVID‐19 pandemic, in both infected and non‐infected individuals, though mostly assessed cross‐sectionally. To assess these symptoms after lockdown cessation, we conducted a prospective longitudinal study in a large UK cohort.

The GSK3/SHAGGY‐like OsGSK3 phosphorylates and inhibits phase separation of OsFCA at Ser‐43 and Ser‐45 to regulate brassinosteroid signaling and rice architecture

open access: yesNew Phytologist, EarlyView.
A working model for GLYCOGEN SYNTHASE KINASE 3‐mediated phosphorylation of FLOWERING CONTROL LOCUS A in the regulation of brassinosteroid signaling and rice growth and development. Summary Brassinosteroid (BR) signaling plays a critical role in rice (Oryza sativa L.) grain development.

Natural variation in OsMYB305 downregulating cytokinin‐mediated inhibition of leaf senescence contributes to regional adaptation in rice

open access: yesNew Phytologist, EarlyView.
Proposed regulatory model of OsMYB305 in leaf senescence. Summary Accumulating evidence has identified transcription factors (TFs) as key regulators of the onset and progression of leaf senescence. However, the regulatory role of the rice myeloblastosis (MYB) TF OsMYB305 in this process remains largely unknown.
