17‐epi‐Melianodiol, a new protolimonoid from Melia azedarach fruits, exhibits larvicidal activity and is associated with oxidative imbalance and midgut epithelial damage in Aedes aegypti larvae

Endophytic fungi from two isolated Bethencourtia palmensis populations: metabolomic and bioactivity fingerprinting

We compared two island populations of Bethencourtia palmensis and their culturable endophytic fungi, revealing distinct plant chemistries and a higher biopesticidal potential in the endophytic fungi from La Palma population along with high potential for the discovery of novel compounds.

Large‐Scale Structural Dynamics in the Tail Fiber Modulate the Infective Transition of the T7 Bacteriophage

During host recognition, the fibers of T7 bacteriophages transition from a capsid bound state to an extended conformation, which requires some level of fiber flexibility. By using high‐speed atomic force microscopy, we show that the fibers have an internal molecular hinge and a torsionally compliant coiled‐coil region.
