Equivariant birational types and Burnside volume
We introduce equivariant Burnside groups, new invariants in equivariant birational geometry, generalizing birational symbols groups for actions of finite abelian groups, due to Kontsevich, Pestun, and the second author, and study their properties.

ON THE DYNAMICS OF BIRATIONAL MAPPINGS OF THE PLANE [PDF]
Summary: In this paper we discuss how the dynamics of certain birational maps of the real plane may be studied using complex methods.

Discrete integrable systems and Poisson algebras from cluster maps [PDF]
We consider nonlinear recurrences generated from cluster mutations applied to quivers that have the property of being cluster mutation-periodic with period 1.

On the Construction of Elliptic Solutions of Integrable Birational Maps [PDF]
We present a systematic technique to find explicit solutions of birational maps, provided that these solutions are given in terms of elliptic functions. The two main ingredients are: (i) application of classical addition theorems for elliptic functions, and (ii) experimental technique to detect an algebraic curve containing a given sequence of points ...

Periodic Orbits of Planar Integrable Birational Maps [PDF]
A birational planar map F possessing a rational first integral preserves a foliation of the plane given by algebraic curves which, if F is not globally periodic, is given by a foliation of curves that have generically genus 0 or 1.

Holomorphic symmetric differentials and a birational characterization of Abelian Varieties [PDF]
A generically generated vector bundle on a smooth projective variety yields a rational map to a Grassmannian, called Kodaira map. We answer a previous question, raised by the asymptotic behaviour of such maps, giving rise to a birational characterization

Integrable maps in 4D and modified Volterra lattices [PDF]
In recent work, we presented the construction of a family of difference equations associated with the Stieltjes continued fraction expansion of a certain function on a hyperelliptic curve of genus $g$. As well as proving that each such discrete system is

Effective criteria for bigraded birational maps
In this paper, we consider rational maps whose source is a product of two subvarieties, each one being embedded in a projective space. Our main objective is to investigate birationality criteria for such maps. First, a general criterion is given in terms of the rank of a couple of matrices that became to be known as Jacobian dual matrices.

Birational rowmotion on a rectangle over a noncommutative ring
We extend the periodicity of birational rowmotion for rectangular posets to the case when the base field is replaced by a noncommutative ring (under appropriate conditions). This resolves a conjecture from 2014.
