Hydrophilic Extraction Effects on Bonding of Silver Birch (Betula Pendula Roth) Wood
The bonding behavior of silver birch wood with MUF and PUR adhesives was studied. In detail, the interactions of hydrophilic extractives with the curing adhesives, the impact of extraction on mechanical and morphological bond line properties, and on glueability-related wood properties were examined.
