Hybrid Convolutional Neural Network‐Analytical Model for Prediction of Line Edge Roughness‐Induced Performance Variations in Fin‐Shaped Field‐Effect Transistor Devices and SRAM

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This work presents a hybrid model for predicting the electrical characteristics of fin‐shaped field‐effect transistor devices and SRAM with line edge roughness. The model consists of a convolutional neural network (CNN) and an analytical model that simulates the electrical characteristics of transistors using the outputs of CNN, enabling fast and ...

Assessing Angiogenic Properties In Vitro or In Ovo of Pre‐Crosslinked Alginate‐Dialdehyde‐Gelatin Hydrogels Incorporating Boron‐Doped Mesoporous Bioactive Glass Particles

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
This study examines the influence of boron‐doped mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles (MBGN) blended in cast and 3D‐printed pre‐crosslinked alginate‐dialdehyde‐gelatin (ADA‐GEL). Addition of 0.5% and 1% MBGN did not negatively affect the viability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), or the sprouting of HUVEC spheroids.

DNA metabarcoding reveals greater plant diversity than morphological seed analysis of bird feces

open access: yesApplications in Plant Sciences, EarlyView.
Abstract Premise Fruit‐eating birds drive seed dispersal in recovering tropical ecosystems, shaping forest regeneration. Molecular techniques, such as DNA metabarcoding, enable diet analysis from feces and can provide complementary frugivory data where dispersal is infrequent, as well as aid in seed identification in hyper‐diverse regions lacking ...

Komunitas Burung di Pulau Tidung Kecil Kepulauan Seribu

open access: yesAl-Kauniyah Jurnal Biologi, 2015
Tidung Kecil Island had potential as bird’s habitat because the condition of forest better than Tidung Besar. Bird’s habitat in Tidung Kecil Island also had bad potential because of logging and burned in vegetation areal for build and for activity of ...

Mapping functional traits: comparing abundance and presence-absence estimates at large spatial scales [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Efforts to quantify the composition of biological communities increasingly focus on functional traits. The composition of communities in terms of traits can be summarized in several ways.

Synapsids and sensitivity: Broad survey of tetrapod trigeminal canal morphology supports an evolutionary trend of increasing facial tactile specialization in the mammal lineage

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract The trigeminus nerve (cranial nerve V) is a large and significant conduit of sensory information from the face to the brain, with its three branches extending over the head to innervate a wide variety of integumentary sensory receptors, primarily tactile.
